Pastor Josh and Angie met in Birmingham in 1999. Pastor Josh was working in the engineering field and Angie was attending Samford University, where she received her BA in Nursing. They were attending the same church and fell in love immediately. After two years of a whirlwind romance they were married by both of their fathers, who are pastors. After being moved by God, in 2003 they accepted the call into the ministry. Pastor Josh received his license from the Assembly of God and served as the Media Pastor and young couples leaders at the church they were attending in Birmingham. Pastor Josh and Angie, along with their son Caleb, moved to Saraland to become the Executive Pastor of Fountain of Life Church in 2007. In 2010 came the addition of another wonderful son, Luke. After the retirement of Pastor Clinton and Wanda Hobbs in 2012, Pastor Josh and Angie were elected as the Lead Pastors. “God has called us to heal the hurting, reach the lost and equip the believers for the ministry. God restored me beyond my brokenness of a former life to proclaim freedom for those who are hurting and have no hope. Jesus is the only way. In Him there is hope. Join my family as we experience God.”
Scott and Pastor Annie both grew up in the Mobile area. They did not realize it due to the difference in their ages, but they attended the same school for a few years. During a graduation service she heard one of the older students singing the song “Wind Beneath My Wings”. Immediately she fell in love with the song and the voice. In 1999, Pastor Annie rededicated her life to Christ and began attending FOLC. That is where Scott and Pastor Annie met and fell in love. Shortly after they started dating, she realized that Scott was the voice that she had fallen in love with years ago. After joining in marriage in 2000 they both served in ministry, Scott in music and Pastor Annie with children. God has blessed them with four incredible boys, Austin, Caleb, Eli and Gabriel. In June of 2006 God called them to join their gifts & talents together to lead the children’s ministry here at FOLC.“We are so honored that our creator would choose to use us to help equip His Chosen Generation.”
Nick and Tara met at Fountain of Life Church in Saraland where they attended the youth together while in high school. They dated off and on throughout their teenage years and then got married shortly after their first two years of college at Faulkner State Community College. Nick worked as an iron worker for several years and served in various lay ministry capacities at the FOL, while Tara worked at Springhill Hospital, pursued her nursing degree, and also served in lay ministry within the church. After serving as Assistant Youth Pastors at FOL, in 2010, Nick and Tara became the full time Student Pastors at FOL. Their passion is to see students’ lives changed and see them pursing the dreams that God has given them.
